  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix Homemade gravy can be a gluten-free option.

For the Finish

  • 4 pieces Whole Pepperoncinis Can be omitted for a milder taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Shortening or dairy-free alternatives can be used.

How to Make Instant Pot Mississippi Chicken

  • Arrange chicken breasts in the bottom of your Instant Pot, ensuring they fit snugly.
  • Pour chicken broth and pepperoncini juice over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix on top.
  • Add whole pepperoncinis and place butter over the chicken.
  • Seal the lid tightly and set Instant Pot to MANUAL for 8 minutes.
  • Allow a natural release for 5 minutes, then switch to venting.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the sauce left in the pot.

Notes

Top with fresh parsley or mozzarella cheese before serving for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
