How to Make Greek Chicken Tenders

  • In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken tenders and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  • Choose your cooking method: pan-searing, baking, or grilling. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). For grilling, heat your grill to medium heat.
  • Pan-Searing: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove excess marinade and cook chicken in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Baking: Arrange chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Grilling: Place marinated chicken on the preheated grill. Grill for around 3 minutes per side.
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes. Optionally drizzle with fresh lemon juice and olive oil or serve with tzatziki sauce.

Notes
