For the Casserole

  • 1 pound Steak Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1.5 pounds Baby Potatoes Quartered
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Check for gluten-free brand if needed
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Can use regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Or use fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Or use fresh onions
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded, sharp cheddar recommended
  • 4 slices Bacon Crispy, can substitute with turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt

For Serving

  • 1 bowl Fresh Green Salad With zesty vinaigrette
  • 1 loaf Cornbread For scooping

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and quarter the baby potatoes.
  • Mix steak pieces in a bowl with Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat quartered potatoes in a bowl with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly in the greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Stir the potatoes, then layer the seasoned steak on top and return to the oven for 15-18 minutes.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, then bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sour cream before serving.

Notes

Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can freeze for 2 months.
