Instructions
 

Preparing Gozleme

  • Combine bread flour, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Mix baby spinach, chopped onion, minced garlic, mozzarella, feta, and egg in a separate bowl until well combined.
  • Divide dough into 4 pieces. Roll each into a rectangle, add filling, fold over and seal. Prick with fork.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook gozleme for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Cut cooked gozleme into wedges, drizzle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with yogurt if desired.

Notes

Ensure dough is kneaded until just smooth to avoid toughness. Experiment with fillings and brush dough with olive oil for crispiest texture.
