  • 8 oz Rotini Can use any short pasta
  • 6 oz Bacon Cooked and crumbled, can use turkey bacon as an alternative

For the Creamy Dressing

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Can swap with Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Adjust quantity to taste
  • 1/4 cup Pickle Juice Essential for flavor
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix Or make your own

For the Fresh Elements

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill Roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Dill Pickles Roughly chopped

For the Cheese

  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Cubed

Instructions
 

Making the Salad

  • Cook crumbled bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Cook rotini in boiling salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, then drain and cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, ranch seasoning, and fresh dill until smooth.
  • Gently fold cooled rotini into the dressing, then add crumbled bacon, dill pickles, and cubed cheddar cheese. Mix until well coated.
  • Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving cold.

Notes

Garnish with additional fresh dill or a sprinkle of paprika, adjust pickle juice to taste, and consider veggie add-ins for a twist.
