  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Pre-rolled for convenience

For the Filling

  • 1 bunch Fresh Asparagus Medium-thin stalks
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin for flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard For a tangy kick
  • 1 cup Gruyère Cheese Rich, nutty flavor
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Melts beautifully
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim the asparagus by cutting off the tough ends and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Score a 1-inch border along the edges of the pastry.
  • Spread a layer of Dijon mustard inside the scored border.
  • Sprinkle Gruyère and mozzarella cheese evenly over the mustard.
  • Arrange the asparagus spears across the top of the cheese.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before drizzling with balsamic glaze and serving.

Notes
