  • 1 pound gnocchi Fresh gnocchi recommended
  • 1 pound Italian sausage Can substitute with plant-based sausage
  • 1 bundle broccolini Alternatively use asparagus or zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For roasting
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional for heat
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for topping
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil or parsley For garnish

How to Make Sheet Pan Gnocchi Sage and Broccoli

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss together the gnocchi, sliced Italian sausage, and chopped broccolini. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until coated.
  • Transfer the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out into an even layer.
  • Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the gnocchi is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For added brightness, consider a squeeze of fresh lemon just before serving.
