Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and baking powder; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before frosting.
