  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto lined baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges but still soft in the center.
  6. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool slightly before enjoying.
