  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for dough)
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup eggnog
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Additional cinnamon-sugar (1/4 cup sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon) for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in eggnog and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, form balls of dough and roll them in cinnamon-sugar before placing on baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
