  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • Green food coloring
  • 8 sugar cones
  • Assorted candy decorations

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and remaining sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in half of the dry ingredients followed by half of the milk until smooth.
  5. Fill muffin tins two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting. Beat butter and powdered sugar together, adding green food coloring to achieve desired shade.
  7. Frost each cupcake generously, place an upside-down sugar cone on top, and decorate with candies.
