  • For the Frosting: ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp rose water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla bean paste.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
