  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter into the muffin tin and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
