Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  3. In a large bowl, mix sugar and oil until well combined. Add buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
