  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat vegetable oil and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in buttermilk, red food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar.
  6. Pour half of the red velvet batter into the prepared bundt pan. Add dollops of cream cheese filling, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before serving.
