Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just mixed.
  6. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar, butter, cream, and vanilla.
