  • 1 cup white chocolate melts (for decoration)
  • Candy eyes (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop rounded dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on trays for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  7. Decorate by melting the white chocolate and drizzling it over the cooled cookies to create mummy wrappings; add candy eyes while still warm.
