Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in maple syrup.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk if desired. Gently fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
