1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp bourbon (optional)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, maple syrup, bourbon (if using), eggs, and brown sugar until smooth.
In another bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
