  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, hemp seeds, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets spaced about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges but still soft in the center. Cool for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
