Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with festive paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Add green food coloring until the desired shade is achieved.
  7. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Once cooled, pipe green buttercream frosting onto cupcakes in a tree shape and decorate with candy.
