  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup eggnog (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in all-purpose flour until just combined; scoop about a tablespoon of dough into each muffin cup and press down to shape.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing, then pour in eggnog and spices; blend until creamy.
