  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool slightly, then poke holes in it using the end of a wooden spoon.
  5. Spoon cherry pie filling over the holes, allowing it to soak in.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cake.
  7. Chill before serving.
