  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed) for topping
  • 1/4 cup melted butter for topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth; gradually combine with dry ingredients without overmixing.
  4. For the topping, mix brown sugar and melted butter in a small bowl until crumbly; stir in nuts if desired.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the topping over it, followed by the remaining batter and topping.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
