  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnuts (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by milk; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan. Swirl in half of the chocolate hazelnut spread, add the remaining batter, then top with more spread and create swirls using a knife.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
