  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup heavy cream (divided)
  • 6 oz bittersweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold in cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder until just combined.
  4. Spread batter onto the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until springy to touch.
  5. Allow cooling slightly before flipping onto another parchment sheet.
  6. Whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form; fold in chocolate hazelnut spread.
  7. Spread filling over cooled sponge cake, roll tightly from one end while peeling off parchment.
  8. For ganache, heat remaining cream until steaming; pour over chopped chocolate until smooth.
  9. Drizzle ganache over the log; slice and serve.
