  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • Green food coloring (to desired shade)
  • Edible glitter or sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before frosting. Beat softened butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar and green food coloring. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes and top with edible glitter.
