  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and half of the melted butter until just mixed.
  3. Spread half of the mixture into the baking dish as the base layer.
  4. Pour cherry pie filling evenly over the base layer.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining chocolate mixture over cherries and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Drizzle remaining melted butter over everything.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until puffed up and set.
