  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in half of the caramel sauce into the dough.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges but still soft in the center.
  8. Let cool slightly before drizzling with remaining caramel sauce.
