  • 1 cup chopped Granny Smith apples
  • 1 cup caramel bits

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped apples and caramel bits.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
