  • 34 ripe bananas (about 450g)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1/3 cup softened butter (75g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in softened butter and sugar until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
