  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pistachios (toasted)
  • 1/2 cup honey (for syrup)
  • 1/4 cup water (for syrup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease Bundt pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, melt butter and let cool slightly. Whisk in eggs one at a time and stir in honey until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold in toasted nuts.
  5. Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly; invert onto serving plate. For syrup, simmer honey and water until thickened, then drizzle over the cake.
