  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients with milk to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in fresh blueberries without squishing them.
  7. Divide batter among cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
  8. For frosting, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; frost cooled cupcakes generously.
