  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Frost as desired once completely cooled.
