  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet (15×10 inches) with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Gradually combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed; avoid over-mixing.
  5. Spread batter evenly in the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While cooling slightly, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering; pour over chocolate chips and let sit for five minutes before stirring until smooth.
  7. Once the cake has cooled completely, spread ganache over the top and slice into squares or roll up like traditional Yule logs.
