  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp dried culinary lavender

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in honey until well combined.
  4. Gradually combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk until just mixed.
  5. Gently fold in the dried lavender buds.
  6. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool completely before frosting with whipped honey icing.
