  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Red M&M's for decoration

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. 3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. 4. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. 5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. 6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but still soft; let cool on wire racks.
