  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Red M&Ms (for noses)
  • Pretzel sticks (for antlers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Combine with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each liner two-thirds full.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Frost with chocolate frosting and add red M&Ms for noses and pretzel sticks for antlers.
