  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Green food coloring (gel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar and mix until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture until well combined.
  6. Pour batter into cupcake liners, filling them two-thirds full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely before frosting with green buttercream.
