  • 24 ladyfingers (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and sugar; whip until smooth.
  3. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks and gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Briefly dip ladyfingers in cooled espresso and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours, dust with cocoa powder before serving.
