  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined.
  5. Fill liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 20–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  6. For frosting, whip heavy cream and fold in caramel sauce and powdered sugar until smooth. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
